Carnivals and come with them, costumes, music, holidays, etc. along with a series of recipes typical of this time of year so funny and cheerful.
The history of this festival dates back centuries, and it is a Christian holiday celebrated before what is known asLent . Forty days before Easter , Christians had to prepare your mind and body for the coming of Christ based on the daily withdrawal .
Therefore, before I got this period of deprivation , believers needed a release time, holiday and culinary delights , which we know today as Carnival.
In Spain it is celebrated in almost all places, enjoying recipes and typical dishes of which will realize below. For example, in Asturias and Galicia they are typical Carnival ears , which are sweets made from flour, butter, sugar and egg. We also highlight the " do entroido cooked" , which is prepared with chickpeas , cabbage, potatoes, chicken, pork, cabbage, oxtail, chorizo and bacon.
In Catalonia usual eating a sausage made from pig's stomach stuffed with minced meat, bread, eggs and raisins.The kink-covered pork, pine nuts and sugar or egg sausages are other recipes characteristics of Catalan carnivals.
Meanwhile, in Canary enjoying soups Honey , you made with bread, molasses, cinnamon, anise and lemon peel.They are classic recipes Carnival in Andalusia , and consumed Carnival cakes or curd Carnival , a delicious dessert that is made from the fat cakes that are left at Christmas . Nor can we forget the shrimp fritters and "fish" fried .
As for desserts, we highlight the fried milk , the Carnival ears or egg fritters . These three desserts are prepared similarly, using ingredients such as flour, eggs, water, butter and sugar.
