Restrict Food Sweet In Children

Often a fussy child given sweets or chocolate. Parents assume candy or chocolate can make rewelnya passed. Kids are very happy with the food is candy sweet one. Candy sugar or a sugar-containing high calories, generally the base material, namely sugar candy, water and fructose syrup. The content contained in the candy can cause some adverse conditions on the health of children, in fact not only candy, chocolate but other sweet foods should you limit in children.
Some of the reasons to limit sugary foods such as candy, chocolate or cake with artificial sweeteners because children often consume these foods have a feeling of satiety thus inhibiting nutritious food for their growth. In fact, studies have found that too much sugar consumed by children increases the risk of poor bone density, obesity or diabetes type 2. In addition, conditions that are often experienced by children is dental cavities, causing children experiencing dental pain and less appetite.

Here are ways you can do to limit your intake of foods or drinks that contain excess sugar, namely:

1. Recognize the added sugar in children's food
About 70 percent of food intended for children, it is often encountered additional sugar, so you have to be very selective in reading food labels. List of added sugar that are often found in children's food is high fructose corn syrup, fruit juice concentrate, lactose, maltose, sucrose, glucose, dextrose, molasses, barley malt, malt Diastatic, ethyl maltol, maltodextrin, honey. Although not harmful but you should pay attention to the sugar content so that the percentage is not too much is consumed by children. 2. Choosing healthy drinks for kids

3. Limiting sweets or chocolate snacks

4. Choose foods naturally sweet
You can choose foods that are naturally sweet, healthy for the child's health. Choose desserts such as fruit slices with yogurth, smothie fruit or fruit juice with a little homemade sugar content. That way your child will reduce the consumption of unhealthy sugary foods like candy or chocolate.  5. Avoid connecting candy to comfort children

When your child gets upset or cranky, you should not automatically reach for comfort her favorite candy. This could create an unhealthy relationship between the child's emotions and high-calorie foods (such as candy or chocolate) which can eventually lead to weight gain. The same applies to giving the gift of the ability of your child, you should avoid giving sweets, should you choose other foods or other objects such as toys or stickers.
